Day 2 Bethany Beach

We started off this morning by taking Ruthie to the hospital at 2 am. She has a head/chest cold and was having trouble breathing. So we gave her a nebulizer treatment and then headed 20 minutes away to see if she was in trouble. This is a picture of Ruthie in the ER. Fortunately her oxidation level was 98%. What a relief! But the doctor said she was wheezing a little, so he sent her home with steroids and tylenol for her fever. Thank you so much, Lord!

When Ruthie found out she was going to the hospital, the first thing she thought of was the dread of the IV drip. So we prayed and claimed our promise verse, "What time I am afraid, I will trust in Thee"~Psalm 56:3. Immediately she relaxed, and that was the last she thought of it.

Sarah, Mike and Lizzie also have headcolds, so the rest of us are very paranoid about touching anything!
Allen had a lot of fun playing with his cousins on the beach, and surfing in the ocean. Allen may not have any brothers, but he has lots of boy cousins!

The ocean is so soothing. I enjoy listening to the waves. It is breezy enough to keep the windows and doors open. I ran out of battery power for my camera, so Monday I'll go buy new ones. We were going to walk on the boardwalk tonight, but it is pretty cool and windy, and the family members with colds don't feel well, so we had a nice, relaxing evening eating chicken and rice soup and watching good movies on cable (yes! we found a few!).

Have a wonderful Sunday in worship. Many blessings ~ Kathie

Oh Kathie, she looks like she's not feeling well at all! But glad it's not worse. Sounds like everything is having a great time. Hope the sick ones feel better.
