Bits and Pieces

Just a few things to say about a few things. If you've never been to, then be sure to look at this website today! This blog is maintained by a wonderful Christian girl named Shannon. The whole site is nothing but giveaways.

If you've been wanting to start your own blog but don't know how to go about it, then go enter one of this week's bloggy giveaways for the free blog package ($70 value!). Or if you already have a blog but want to upgrade your design, this is the giveaway for you! Even though I seldom enter the contests, I did enter this one. But I usually check this website several times a week because the giveaways are always interesting! So hop on over!

Also be sure to look at for his post earlier this week about elevators. Fascinating! Rob Loach (a French teacher at BJU) maintains this blog. Our family's two favorite posts are the "health club" and the "rules of camping" posts. Be careful, you could while away the hours awfully fast on this blog!

I appreciate the three comments about whether Bible reading or praying is easiest. (Yes, I know one comment remains unpublished.) Seems like we four women agree that prayer is a constant in our lives, whereas Bible study/reading is a determination on our part.

Mike's parents are coming to town this upcoming week, so tomorrow we start on serious cleaning. I also tore a dress today, so hopefully I will get some sewing done. Anna and Lizzie made it to Virginia today. Dad drove 25 hours straight from Texas and they've decided to stay in VA until tomorrow sometime. I hope they come home before the dangerous weather we are expecting.

Have a nice weekend. Many blessings ~ Kathie
